2014 Montgomery County Heart & Stroke Walk

Heart disease, stroke, and all other cardiovascular diseases, claim more than 813,804 American lives a year. In order to raise awareness and fund research, the American Heart Association (AHA) is hosting the the 2014 Montgomery County Heart & Stroke Walk on Saturday, NovembeMontgomery County - AHA Photo 3r 1, 2014.

This will be a non-competitive 5K walk aimed at encouraging family fun and physical wellness. So whether you come out with your family, your co-workers, or just as an individual, everyone is welcome. Help do your part to reach the AHA’s $410,000 goal and start a new commitment to a more active lifestyle!

In years past, the American Heart Association has contributed to important health innovations such as CPR, life-extending drugs, pacemakers, bypass surgery, the heart-lung machine and surgical techniques to repair heart defects. That’s certainly a cause worth supporting!

There is no registration fee, but donations are appreciated.
